Julie Youngblade
Julie started her career in the Interior Design field in 2004. A few years later she pursued her dreams of becoming an Independent Designer and opened JY Design in 2009. Her passion is problem solving and crafting great design that matches up with the sensibility of the client's design style.

Julie has a knowledgeable background in commercial and residential lighting, a great eye for detail, and knows just how to add the perfect touch to any space. Julie's innovative mind can help you reach all of your goals and help your vision come to life.
Fun Facts
Julie considers her best achievements to be a lasting love with her college sweetheart, Dave, and her two grown children Bailey & Benjamin. Over the years her family has discovered the love of Great Danes & currently has TWO – Quinn and Nellie! Julie takes tremendous pride in having grown her business over the last 15 years. Her work creates intimate bonds with clients and Julie cherishes the friendships that come along with what she does.
OWNER / INTERIOR DESIGNER
Erin Beaumont
Erin began her interior design career in 1998. Her journey started managing Iowa's first Trade Only design showroom, setting the stage for her passion for full-service design. In 2009, Erin and her family relocated to Columbus, Ohio, where she grew her design practice independently. In 2017, she was honored as the area's top designer.
After 11 years, Erin and her family returned to Iowa to be closer to loved ones. As a seasoned designer, Erin excels in managing projects with a keen focus on client goals, budget, and clear communication.

Erin specializes in kitchen and bath design, bringing a fresh, authentic, and timeless approach to her work. She is dedicated to guiding clients through the design process, enhancing their vision, and creating homes that reflect their unique aesthetic and personal story.
Fun Facts
Erin is now an empty nester who treasures time with family, friends, and her community. She cherishes the memories of her late husband, Lue, of over 25 years, and finds peace in her son Gavin and joy through her daughter Blythe. In her downtime, Erin enjoys attempting to corral her ill-mannered Bernedoodles, Kinnick and Carver. Go Hawks!
INTERIOR DESIGNER
Ashley Schnoebelen
Ashley has been a welcome addition to the team joining JY Design in 2022! Her degree in business management and marketing is a huge benefit as she runs the office. After 10 wonderful years of raising her babies full-time, Ashley has seamlessly transitioned into her new role and is an expert at keeping the showroom organized and loves meeting and interacting with all of our amazing clients!
Area of Expertise
Ashley enjoys keeping the office running smoothly, our samples up-to-date and making sure our orders are on track. If you have any questions or concerns, she is always happy to help and be at your service!
Fun Facts
Ashley loves spending time with her husband Michael, her 2 children Braylee & Brextyn, and their energetic but adorable Shi-Chon named Louie. When she’s not in the office you can usually find Ashley at a softball field or basketball court cheering for her kids. She also enjoys the outdoors and hosting their many close friends and family.
